Deli At 5th Shuts Down.

I was having a happy 4 day weekend and i get this call, from my manager, saying don't bother coming into work the deli is closing down. Next thing I know I'm down there getting my last pay check. Now I have to go Job Hunting. If anyone has any suggestions please let me know.

My Awesome Cat. Who Thinks He Is A Dog

So one of my presents for Christmas was to get a kitten. I was so excited however I think my Aunt Laura screamed louder than i did. None the less, I was pumped to get a furry little companion.


We started searching the Internet and my Mom found an ad about the local Petco having kittens for adoption. This of course was late Saturday night, so of course they didn't have any left, or there. Instead we got a phone number for a lady who Fostered Cats. OVER 30 cats mind you! I can barely handle one, let alone 30!


We called this lady (I refer to her as the "Amy Winehouse Lady, just Not Trashy, And Nice") and she said she would be glad to let us come sometime tomorrow and to call her. So that's just what we did. We went over to her house around 5 that evening. Now i thought there would be maybe just 2 or 3 i would want to bring home, and i would have to settle on one. No i loved them all, and i wish i could have taken them all home. They all had such sad backgrounds too.

1. The Amy Winehouse lady fostered 3 kittens who had been in a home where the owner felt it necessary to cut off their whiskers.


2. She fostered a cat that everybody said would never let anyone touch her. Now she is a lot more loving, but still really shy.


3. 2 Kittens were found in a dumpster.

Man they were all just too much. I pretty much had to beg my dad to let me get one, so we settles with a Kitten "The Amy Wine House Lady Just Not Trashy And Nice" called Azure. I decided to rename him

Let me tell you a little more about this character:

-Male
-Russian Blue, or some other breed related to Russian blue.
-8 months old now. (He was 7 when we adopted him)
-He thinks he is Human/Dog/Cat
-He is the boss of the house now
-He trains me... I don't train him.

I know your thinking...'He thinks he is a dog?' Yes he plays fetch with me actually. I have a short video of it, you can't see it very well because he has mad ninja skills.

Summer Concerts, and 10 Reasons To Love/Hate School.

Wow summer is ending. I can't believe it. I was just getting my sleep schedule screwed up. Well with summer ending, lets update all of you on a few things happening In my life.

~Concerts~

I sadly only went to 2 concerts this summer. But they were both amazing. And FREE! Thats right folks. FREE!

1. Delta Spirt, and Clap Your Hands Say Yeah! Delta Spirit opened up and i was amazed. There sound was awesome. I had never heard them before, but im pretty excited to buy their album on tuesday! Clap your Hands Say Yeah, came next. I love them. And they are 10x better live. It got a little crazy towards the end. Too much moshing...which is odd because Clap Your Hands is not a hardcore band.
2. The 2nd Concert i went to was The Big Sleep, And Broken Social Scene. The Big sleep... wow is all i can say. Listening to their 35 minute set made me go buy their album. Really good. The lead guitar dude was insane at synths. Broken Social Scene, I love how they have like 10 people in their band and they all come out on stage and pretty much party. Such a good live preformance.

~10 Reasons to Love/Hate School~

Lets start with the Hate Aspect of School:

1. No More Lazy Days. I will miss waking up at 2 in the Afternoon.
2. Homework. What more is there to say?
3. Just the School Atmosphere is boring, and makes me queasy.
4. No more All Night Sleep Overs/waking up early.
5. Did I mention I start school tomorrow?
6. I actually have to put effort into playing the violin again. (good and bad thing)
7. No more video games.
8. Those certain teachers that you just dread to see at the beginning of the year.
9. Homework again.
10. Less time doing nothing, more time doing something. (My motto is usually the opposite)

Reasons for Wanting to go back to school:

1. I get to see all those friends I never see during the summer.
2. Gets me back into a schedule
3. Going out to lunch with friends.
4. Can't wait to see the certain teachers i love.
5. Actually is good exersise. Big School+Classes far away from eachother+Big bag of Books=Good exercise.
6. I actually read more during the school year.
7. Orchrestra! Oh how I miss you!

~I Can't Believe I'm Actually Taking The Time To Write This~

How long has it been, you ask? Over a year now. Yes, a year in which I haven't posted on my blog. If I were a "Hardcore" blogger I would make this post enormously long, catching up on everything that has happend in the last year, leaving you snoring and falling asleep on your keyboards. Instead I will just try and catch you up on some thing I have been doing this summer.

1. Work-

I work at the Deli at 5th, on 5th south in bountiful. A summer job, what more is there to life... Other than having a life? Which the managers think i do not have. Last week I worked 5 days. I will do the same this week. Don't get me wrong I will love seeing the paycheck, but you would be a little mad to if when you applied you said 3 days a week, and they schedule you 5 hours a week. I will have more on the Deli in future posts to come.

2. Friends-

If I am not at work, or not at home. I'm usually out with my friends. Im suprised to say we haven't had to many crazy times this summer. Getting kicked out of Smiths, and etc. Was all last summer. But what would i do without these guys. I however have stayed up 3 sleepovers without sleeping with jason and colton this summer. A new record!!

3. Family-

This home seems lonely this summer, but gets crazy at times. My brother still keeps us all sane. Correction, Insane. My dad still makes me laugh everyday of my life. My mom and I still have midnight chocolate runs every once and a while. We have the occasional family Rock Band party, where my brother plays drums, I play guitar, and my mom plays bass. My dad usually sits there and watches us embarrass ourselfs.

4. Scout Camp-

Coming next week. My friend Colton said he would kill me if i didn't go. (It's on his birthday) It should be fun. I love camping, and i haven't been in a while so im pretty excited. I hope i don't see a kid eat another goldfish again though.

5. Video Games-

Everybody that knows me, knows i love video games right!?! Well suprise, I ended my Xbox Live subscription. I started playing PC games a little more, Nothing hardcore like WoW, Just the occasional http://www.kongregate.com/, and www.nitrome.com , http://www.runescape.com/ . Well guess how long going without live lasted? about 3 weeks, and i gave in. I got a free month trial. I figure it's summer i have nothing better to do. And really i only play when my friend gets on. I probably won't actually renew untill a new game comes out i really want like http://www.l4d.com/

Well that wraps up my summer in a nutshell.

Yeah, sorry I haven't posted in a while. There isn't much going on though. My mom just graduated from the U of U, while my sister just graduated from BYU. My Grandma Joy came down to visit and see my mom and sister graduate. We also had my Aunt Laura, Uncle Jim come and stay with us. Yeah our little 3 bedroom duplex was a little crowded.

Nothing much else going on, just trying to finish 9th grade so I can finally be in high school. (Why does the state of Utah insist on having 9th grade in Jr. High???)

So the crossing guard lady for my school today told me I Look like Harry Potter. I dont know if i take that good or bad. What do you people think???

Sudoku Addict!

I've played this game before but i finally got the hang of it, and what do you know... I can't Get enough! I found this website that allows u to play them online, print them and create your very own sodoku book! I'm finally up to 2 minutes for one puzzle on the Difficulty of easiest! That is good for beginners... Well if any of you want to try it out ill post the link below.

A Great Weekend

This thanksgiving weekend was great. I loved spending time with family and friends. I happend to watch to movies this weekend.

1. The Lakehouse---

A very confusing movie. I really didn't get it. It is one of those chick flick kinda movies. Uggg..

Casino Royale---a

A GOOD movie but dragged it on at the end. Also very predictable. I liked the first scene the best. A recomended movie from me. GO SEE IT!

No Doubt

I remember one of my sister's favorite bands being no doubt, when she was in high school. i hadn't heard them in a long time so yesterday i got onto the new URGE program from Windows Media and downloaded them. I really like them. They arent my favorite band (like muse), but they are still really good. There is No Doubt that No Doubt rocks!

The Enormously Large Lost Update

I have been busy with school so haven't had time to update so I will try to summarize what has happend in the series so far.

LOST

So far Jack, Kate and sawyer havent done much. The only interesting thing is that Kate can get out of her cage but when she does she decides to get back in. Jack prefors surgery on some lady and ends up killing her. Ben wants Jack to preform surgery on him. Juillete wants Jack to prform surgery on him but then kill him during it becase ben is a so called "evil man"

On the other island. Locke and other castaways decide to go to the PEARL hatch to see if they can use a computer to communicate. They end up seeing another hatch with a guy in it that stares at the camera as if he knows they are there. Also desmond, put a golf club on a long pole and it made it rain.

The flashbacks last night were about eko. WARNING SPOILERS!

Eco relives his past and wakes up from a terrifying dream that his brother wants him to go confess all of his sins to him. In the previous episode, Eko burries his brother in the plane and rolls 3 huge boulders by it. Eko goes back in this episode but his brother is gone. He finds his brother wnadering in the forest amd eko confesses to him "I have nothing to confess for what i have done is only what i had to do to stay alive."

The black Mist monster thing appeares and beats eko up. Locke hears the mosters noise and goes to get eko. eko wispers into lockes ear, then EKO DIES!!!!!!

The other castaways ask what Eko said into lockes ear. He said "Your Next."

Halloween

This year I didn't go Trick-Or-Treating, but instead decided to go and blow things up while watching a very large T.V screen at conners house. A.K.A- Halo. As I was playing i remembered how in Moses Lake we would have to drive in a car Trick-Or-Treating because of the issue that we live 3 miles from civilization. Even though we didn't get much candy Trick-Or-Treating in Mose Lake. I still look back at the memory as one of the best.
